Molbio Diagnostics has initiated the largest international rollout of its Truenat MTB platform across nine high TB burden countries in Asia and Africa. Supported by the Stop TB Partnership, USAID, and UNOPS under the Introducing New Tools Project (iNTP), this rollout replaces traditional sputum smear microscopy with WHO-endorsed rapid molecular testing. Truenat devices have already been installed in countries including Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, DR Congo, the Philippines, Uganda, and Kenya, with deployments underway in Bangladesh and Vietnam. Truenat’s portability, battery operation, and fast results continue to strengthen TB care and diagnostics in resource-limited settings.
