Job Description

The role will work closely with leadership, business development, international markets, product, R&D and other internal stakeholders to ensure that Molbio’s corporate narrative, key developments and business priorities are communicated consistently and effectively across markets. This is a hands-on role requiring strong writing, media engagement, stakeholder management and coordination skills, with an ability to understand complex healthcare and diagnostics topics and translate them into clear, compelling communication.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Communications
  • Support the development and execution of Molbio’s corporate communications plan and priorities.
  • Develop corporate communication materials including announcements, leadership messaging, corporate profiles, presentations, talking points, articles and other communication assets.
  • Identify and develop stories that strengthen Molbio’s corporate reputation and visibility.
  • Support leadership communications, including speeches, interviews, talking points and external presentations.
  • Work with internal teams to identify business developments, partnerships, milestones and impact stories that can be amplified externally.
  • Ensure consistency of Molbio’s corporate narrative and brand positioning across communication channels.
2. Media & PR Engagement
  • Support proactive media engagement across business, healthcare, diagnostics, science and international trade media.
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant journalists, editors and industry platforms.
  • Develop press releases, media briefs, Q&As, media kits, pitch notes and other PR materials.
  • Support media opportunities for senior leadership, including interviews, contributed articles and expert commentary.
  • Track media coverage and emerging issues relevant to Molbio and its business.
  • Work with external PR agencies and partners, where required, to execute media engagement initiatives.
  • Support reputation management and timely communication during sensitive or highvisibility situations.
3. International Business Communications Coordination
  • Work closely with international business and market access teams to understand market priorities, upcoming milestones, partnerships, events and business developments.
  • Translate international business priorities into relevant communication opportunities and recommend appropriate channels and narratives.
  • Coordinate with regional teams and stakeholders to gather information, validate facts and develop communication materials.
  • Support communication planning for international events, conferences, partnerships, market launches and stakeholder engagements.
  • Ensure market-specific stories and developments align with Molbio’s overall corporate narrative while retaining relevant local context.
  • Coordinate timelines, inputs and approvals between international business teams and the central communications function.
4. Content & Storytelling
  • Develop clear, engaging content around Molbio’s technology, innovation, business and impact.
  • Simplify scientific, technical and business information into compelling narratives for different audiences.
  • Develop impact stories, case studies, leadership articles, thought-leadership content and corporate storytelling assets.
  • Work with R&D, product and business teams to ensure technical accuracy and credibility of communications.
  • Support content development for corporate website, social media, newsletters, presentations and other external platforms.
5. Events & External Engagement
  • Support communication planning and execution for international and domestic conferences, exhibitions, industry forums and stakeholder engagements.
  • Develop event communication materials including briefing documents, speaker notes, talking points, presentations and media materials.
  • Coordinate with business teams before, during and after key events to maximise communication opportunities.
  • Support engagement with industry bodies, institutions, partners and other external stakeholders.
6. Digital & Social Communications
  • Support corporate communication across LinkedIn and other relevant digital channels.
  • Work with the digital/social media team to identify and adapt international business stories for digital audiences.
  • Monitor relevant conversations, trends and opportunities that can strengthen Molbio’s visibility and positioning.
7. Communications Processes & Governance
  • Maintain communication calendars, media databases, content repositories and other communications trackers.
  • Follow established brand, messaging, review and approval processes.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality across external communication materials.
  • Support development and implementation of communication workflows, templates and guidelines.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • 8–12 years of experience in health, corporate communications, PR, media relations or related communications roles.
  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medtech, pharmaceuticals, life sciences or another technically complex sector is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate communications and media engagement.
  • Experience working with international or geographically dispersed teams is highly desirable.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to understand and simplify scientific, technical and business information.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to take ownership of assignments and drive them through with minimal supervision.
